He has just been born and shows great promise
biz.blogs.it ? "a place in Italian to talk about the blog-business relationship". It was born recently, very little. But the topic is interesting and new, and should be kept an eye on.
?Although I admit that it is difficult for me to conceive the blog as an external communication tool for companies, today's post by Paolo Valdemarin proposes, among other things, an interesting description of the utility of blogs as an internal communication tool, comparing it with others that have been used for a long time and are already widespread:
Most companies today use IT tools to facilitate the exchange of information internally. There is electronic mail, there are intranets, sometimes there is a forum, sometimes there is a mail list, sometimes there are other solutions.
These tools, however, are not the same as the others
These tools, however, cannot solve the problems that a 'personal publishing' application like weblogs can solve.
The idea is simple: each person within a group talks about their work in their own k-log (knowledge weblog). They don't have to worry about being on topic with others like in forums, they don't have to worry about disturbing anyone like with e-mail or the telephone. Colleagues will be able to use tools such as feed aggregators to find out what is going on in their work environment.
