Rainy Sunday morning - Milan
I was walking through the streets of a part of Milan I had never seen before: it was raining. So much rain that I had to get out my umbrella-that-I-never-use.
At a certain point, in order to tidy up the things I had on me - the umbrella strap attached to my wrist, the camera strap that always slips off my shoulder, the straps and ties of my backpack, the cap that by now was keeping me too warm - I stopped under the veranda of a place that looked like a French bistro.
I dried and put away the Fuji, stowed the cap in my rucksack. Then I resumed walking under the umbrella-that-I-never-use: I was almost there.
