Software patents and tortellini

I was reading this morning two completely different points of view on software patents.

One is the - confusing - one from Confindustria. The other is the - more culinary - one by Renzo Davoli. Take 5 minutes to read them.

I have an idea about this patent business and one thing, at least, I am certain of: software is much more like cooking than what Confindustria is about.
