The Beauty and Business of CSS
There's nothing to be done: someone can explain things better.
At the last Web Essentials Douglas Bowman gave a talk on the use of CSS. For the past couple of days the slides he presented - strictly made in XHTML+CSS - have been online and, if you haven't yet decided to go web using the standards, but suspect they might be useful, these 95 pages should convince you completely.
In addition to highlighting known benefits, such as the bandwidth savings due to the decrease in page size, Douglas shows how the simple use of style sheets provides greater and more precise control over whitespace on pages. And you can see how you can successfully format tables, or get a complete overview of the different methods to create rollovers using only CSS.
