North-east of Chaberton
North-east of Chaberton are these mountains: I observed them often while I was in Thures. I watched the light change, casting shadows from one mountain to another. How the colour of the sky changed just above the jaggedness of the peaks, throughout the day, at the interesting times of sunrise and sunset.
At some point in 2023 I discovered - I don't remember how - an app that I had long wished existed. It is called PeakFinder, it is available for iOS and Android, and also on the web. It does one thing, and it does it very well: it tells you what the mountains you are looking at are called.
The wonder, eh?
