Dodgeball: series

Divided into groups, playing dodgeball on the beach in Barcelona. That having the beach, a serious beach, right in front of the city is priceless.

There is a small flight of steps between the pedestrian zone and the actual beach: I sit and shoot from there, which is why the view is low and the horizon cuts through people. I have the X-M1 in programme mode, 200 ISO and the camera shoots at f/6.4 for 1/350 of a second. I save the photos in JPEG.

Post-production of the photos is simple: I straighten the horizon and crop in 16/9, which continues to be one of my favourite formats. Colour processing is done in Lightroom, choosing the preset Cream Hue and tweaking the toning curve a little to gain contrast.
